MotoGuild Chicago Rising From the Ashes
On July 12, 2018 Moto Guild Chicago was a victim of fire by arson. The cause of the fire was a stolen car set alight next to the building, subsequently setting the building on fire.
If you know Moto Guild, you know it is owned by Tony Riccardi, one of the most genuine, knowledgeable and friendly people you could hope to meet. He would literally give you the shirt off of his back. MotoGuild was in the process of moving to its new location at 833 N. Albany in Humboldt Park; with days to go before the Grand Opening of the new shop, it burned to the ground.
A group of friends have started a “GoFundMe” for MotoGuild and Tony is hoping that this will help him keep his dream alive: providing a safe haven for like-minded motorcyclists to relax and work on their bikes.
